Cookies and how we use them

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers downloaded on to your computer when you access certain websites. They are likened to door keys – cookies unlock a computer’s memory and allow a website to recognise users when they return to that particular site. They have limited functionality and cannot browse or scan your computer or dig for information. Users always have the option of accepting or denying cookies. Which cookies we use Our website uses cookies.

A cookie is a harmless small file of letters and numbers that we put on your computer if you agree. Cookies cannot carry viruses or install anything harmful on your computer. These cookies allow us to distinguish you from other users of the website which helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site.

The cookies we use are predominantly ‘analytical’ cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they’re using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example by making sure users are finding what they need easily. If you have any questions regarding cookies please contact info@bsvta.co.uk
