We have over 40 years’ experience in the manufacture of security products including cash safes, drugs cabinets, deposit safes and more. Our company has a vast knowledge and skillset regarding security manufacture and can provide bespoke security solutions to businesses, domestic homes, banks, retail, and many more sectors.
Our history begins in 1974 when SMP was founded in Telford, Shropshire, with SMP standing for ‘Secure Mechanical Products’. Back then the mainstay of our business was general engineering and fabrication which including mould making for precast concrete companies and creating security fencing.
The company then moved into the full manufacture of the types of high-security products we still design, create and supply to this day not long after.
We are extremely proud to be one of the last UK safe manufacturers that trades on a global basis, providing our high-security solutions to 18 countries worldwide and always on the lookout to expand this further, insuring that personal and company assets across the globe can be appropriately stored for their protection.
Our range of security solutions includes independently tested and certified cash safes, in a variety of security grades and sizes, high-security cabinets and medical & controlled drugs cabinets manufactured to meet Home Office regulations, and steel security doors, in addition to our bespoke safe service.
With our bespoke safe service, our clients can customise their high-security solution to ensure that any unique or individual requirements they may have for their secure storage solution can be met, providing a one-of-a-kind solution tailored to their exact needs.
