The Eurosafe General Assembly was hosted this year by Swesafe in Stockholm. Attended by 52 delegates from 12 different countries, it was a very successful event and well organised by the team from Swesafe.
Industry topics such as a new standard for the base fixing of safes, a new ISO standard for the secure storage industry, sustainability, asbestos in safes and updates to various European standards were all discussed.
Presentations were given by the two leading certification bodies for the Europe’s Secure Storage Industry, ECBS & EFSG, about testing, certification and new developments within their organisations.
And two interesting presentations were given by Swish, the digital payments platform and Loomis, the cash handling business, who both gave two interesting views from opposite sides of the market.
The assembly was also delighted to welcome the membership of Switzerland, taking the total number of member countries to 14.
